Key Responsibilities
- Provide counseling to students on course selection and academic planning.
- Monitor and assess students' progress to ensure they meet graduation requirements.
- Identify students' academic challenges and implement appropriate support measures.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student academic achievement.
- Guide students to explore career paths and set future goals.
- Provide information about colleges, trade schools, and other post-secondary opportunities.
- Assist students with college applications, scholarships, and financial aid processes.
- Offer one-on-one or group counseling to address personal or social issues.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance students' interpersonal skills and emotional well-being.
- Be a liaison between the school, parents, and the community.
- Work with school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Advocate for students’ needs and rights.
